Who you are: You are a FY2 doctor in an Orthopaedic Department.

Who the patient is: Mrs. Emily Adams, 84 years old, had a simple fall and a sustained fracture in her non-dominant hand. The fracture was fixed, and she has been treated with MDT (Occupational therapist and physiotherapist). They decided that she could go home. And she will be visited by carers twice a day. She is also arranged for a follow-up every week. She has mental capacity and wants to go home, and she will be given a stalk. Her son David has a concern.

What you should do: Talk to him and address his concern. Consent has been taken.
